This is the first post about Build in Public with AI, a new little space where I’m sharing my journey building products with AI, agentic workflows, and indie tools. When I set this up, I thought of sending this pitch to Startup+ — the community I built from scratch over pitch nights, meetups, and other events.
So, what’s this about?
Outside of running Startup+, I spend a lot of time building things quietly.
Apps like Remitto (Co-founder - a forex comparison app)
Parkr (Android / iOS) app — a street parking alerts app for New York City
ng2-pdfjs-viewer — an open-source PDF viewer that just crossed 6 million downloads
And now, my main focus is building Tuneity — a platform for event organizers and attendees.
Tuneity came out of the real pain and joy of running Startup+ itself.
After 80+ events and 6000+ in-person attendees (For real!), I saw firsthand how challenging it is to create genuine communities through events. Organizers need more than ticket sales. Attendees want more than one-time meetups. Tuneity is my attempt to address that — using AI where it makes sense, and sharing what I learn along the way.
What to expect?
Instead of cluttering this space, I decided to build a separate newsletter to share this journey with you.
This new newsletter - “Build in Public with AI“ is where I’ll share:
→ Honest stories of building with AI (and sometimes fighting with it)
→ Behind-the-scenes lessons from indie projects and open-source work
→ Reflections on what works, what doesn’t, and what I’m still figuring out
No clickbait.
No "20 AI tools you must use today."
Just real stories from the trenches.
If that sounds interesting — stick around.
If not, no worries at all. Feel free to unsubscribe.
I’ll be right here, quietly building and sharing for those who want to follow along.
Thanks again — whether you’re here for AI, indie building, or just stumbled in.
