I tried to sign up for a $5 spot: i registered properly and I tried to paste the discount code into the proper “buy ticket” field, but that field was greyed out, and it said “the discount had already been applied,” which reduced the price to $25 for the day, not “$5” for the day.

The same problem occurred for all of the dates you listed. Is there something wrong with the site that no $5 tickets are available despite repeated claims to the opposite in your email promoting your company, and in your substack post about it.

You have initiated a chain of frustrating events that wasted an hour of my time. I’m disappointed bc it was a good idea and value. I’m just glad I didn’t give you my credit card info. I take false advertising and potential fraud very seriously as I am a privacy and security reporter. I hope you’ll find a way to make this right and compensate me for my time. If I don’t hear back, I’ll have to consider writing to substack and some of your event partners about this frustrating experience. In a spirit of good will, I hope this was just “growing” pains due to an excessive rush to market, and not fraud or anything nefarious.
